Come on, try a little of The Wallflowers’ first new album in almost 10 years

Scott Dudelson/Getty ImagesSo long ago, we don't remember when, The Wallflowers released a new album. The wait for another record will end this summer with the arrival of Exit Wounds, the latest effort from the Jakob Dylan-led outfit.

Exit Wounds, the seventh studio Wallflowers album, is due out July 9. Dylan and company debuted the record's first single, "Roots and Wings," during ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night, and you can listen to the studio version now via digital outlets.

“I think everybody -- no matter what side of the aisle you're on -- wherever we’re going to next, we're all taking a lot of exit wounds with us," Dylan says. "Nobody is the same as they were four years ago. That, to me, is what Exit Wounds signifies."

For what it's worth, we actually do remember when the last Wallflowers album was released -- that would be 2012's Glad All Over -- but we've had "One Headlight" stuck in our heads since it was used in last year's Judd Apatow movie The King of Staten Island.

The Wallflowers are set to tour with Matchbox Twenty this summer. The run was originally scheduled for 2020 before being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here's the Exit Wounds track list:

"Maybe Your Heart’s Not In It No More"
"Roots and Wings"
"I Hear the Ocean (When I Wanna Hear Trains)"
"The Dive Bar in My Heart"
"Darlin’ Hold On"
"Move the River"
"I'll Let You Down (But Will Not Give You Up)"
"Wrong End of the Spear"
"Who’s That Man Walking 'Round My Garden"
"The Daylight Between Us"

SHAED shares new ‘High Dive’ song, “Osaka”

Credit: Jared ZaghaSHAED has shared a new song called "Osaka," a track off the band's upcoming debut album, High Dive.

'Osaka' is an expression of that feeling."

Phoebe Bridgers auctioning smashed ‘SNL’ guitar in support of GLAAD

Will Heath/NBCPhoebe Bridgers is auctioning off the guitar she smashed during her Saturday Night Live performance in February.

Money raised from the auction will benefit the LGBTQ+ organization GLAAD. Bids are open now through April 11 via the auction site Handbid.

Bridgers played the guitar during her performance of the song "I Know the End," which ended with her destroying the instrument on stage by smashing it against an amp. The act inexplicably became a controversial topic on Twitter, culminating in David Crosby deeming Bridgers' smashing performance "pathetic." Bridgers then responded to the mustachioed folk rocker by calling him a "little b****."

"I Know the End" appears on Bridgers' 2020 album Punisher, which also includes the single "Kyoto."
