Image Courtesy of Wind-up RecordsVH1 has confirmed Creed frontman Scott Stapp will appear on the upcoming season of the network's Couples Therapy with Dr. Jenn alongside his wife, Jaclyn. The relationship counseling reality show will premiere October 7 at 10 p.m. ET.
Stapp will be working on his relationship with his wife following bizarre year for the singer, beginning last November when Stapp posted a series of videos claiming he'd been robbed of all of his money.
In an interview with People, Stapp explained that episode and others by revealing he'd experienced "a psychotic break that was brought on by alcohol and drug abuse" and that he'd subsequently been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
"I was hallucinating," Stapp said. "I drove around the United States for a month, following an angel that I saw on the hood of my car."
In the interview, Stapp said he that he's now sober and in intensive therapy.
