Scott Weiland Distances Himself from Art of Anarchy

Credit: Catherine AsanovScott Weiland is not wild about Art of Anarchy.

As previously reported, Art of Anarchy is a new band featuring the former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman on vocals, as well as Disturbed bassist John Moyer and Guns n' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. However, Weiland wants everyone to know that he is not a permanent Art of Anarchy member.

"I wrote and put my vocals down for these guys and had fun doing a couple of videos too, we had a lot of fun," writes Weiland on his Facebook page. "When they find their front man to hit the road and play some dates, check them out."

As for what Weiland is wild about, that would be The Wildabouts, his new backing band. Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts will release their debut album, Blaster, on March 31.

As proof of his dedication to the Wildabouts, Weiland also posted a new video of the band in the studio performing their single "White Lightining" and a new track, "Circles."

Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts will be touring North America in support of Blaster starting in February.
