Credit: Chris BairdSevendust has posted a snippet of new music on their Instagram page. The band is currently working on their tenth full-length album.
"First taste of the new record - much more coming next week!" reads the post's caption. "We're gonna take a 4 day break to see the wives n kids. So we'll leave you with a few seconds of fun," adds drummer Morgan Rose.
The clip is quite short, but one thing's for certain: the track is definitely electric. Sevendust's last release was 2014's Time Travelers & Bonfires -- a totally acoustic album featuring unplugged re-workings of some of the band's hits, as well as six new acoustic tracks. This new album will return to the electric riffs Sevendust is known for.
Sevendust's last electric album was 2013's Black Out the Sun.
