The new song, entitled "Surface Envy," is a sharp, thrashing tune that should assuage the fears of any fan worried that the trio has lost any of its punk edge. You can listen to "Surface Envy" via SoundCloud.

"Surface Envy" is the second new track released from No Cities to Love, following "Bury Our Friends." Sleater-Kinney announced the new album last month after they included "Bury Our Friends" as a single in Start Together, a limited-edition vinyl boxed set consisting remastered versions of the band's seven previous albums. No Cities to Love will be Sleater-Kinney's first album since 2005's The Woods.

Sleater-Kinney will be touring in support of their reunion record starting February 8 in the band's home state with a show in Spokane, Washington. The North American tour concludes March 1 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

No Cities to Love will be released on January 20.
