Tame Impala will release a new album this year, according to an online newsletter sent by the band's management company, Spinning Top. The letter promises "one helluva year" in 2015, which includes a new record from the Grammy nominated Australian band.
"[Tame Impala's] album is still a work in progress and we have no official release date, however it will be released in 2015," a rep from Spinning Top tells Billboard.
The new album, Tame Impala's third, will be a follow-up to 2012's Lonerism, which earned the band their first Grammy nomination. The record was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album, but it lost out to Vampire Weekend's Modern Vampires of the City.
