Credit: Matt SavilleTame Impala is known for their psychedelic brand of rock, but frontman Kevin Parker embraces his heavier side in a cover of Queens of the Stone Age's "I Sat by the Ocean" for Australian radio station Triple J. You can watch Parker tackle "I Sat by the Ocean" now on YouTube.
Parker plays guitar for the cover alongside producer extraordinaire and musician Mark Ronson, who collaborated with pop star Bruno Mars on the mega-hit "Uptown Funk." Several songs on Ronson's last album, Uptown Special, feature Parker's vocals.
Tame Impala just released their third album, Currents, earlier this month. The album gave the band their first top-10 album on the Billboard 200.
Parker and Tame Impala are currently on tour in support of Currents, an outing that includes an appearance at Lollapalooza this weekend.
