Image Courtesy of Cliff Lipson/CBSTeenage Time Killers, the collaborative band featuring contributions from Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, has announced the July 31 release of their debut album, titled Greatest Hits Vol. 1.
Taylor will sing vocals on a track called "Egobomb," while Grohl, who has apparently mastered all instruments, plays bass throughout the album. Greatest Hits Vol. 1 was recorded at Grohl's 606 Studios in California, which is home to the famed Sound City mixing board.
Other Teenage Time Killers contributors include Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio and Blink-182, former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, Foo Fighter Pat Smear and Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, among many more luminaries of hard rock. Blythe sings on the first track to be released from Greatest Hits Vol. 1, entitled "Hung Out to Dry," posted now on YouTube.
