The 1975 Announces UK Tour

Credit: Dave MaThe 1975 social media deactivation publicity stunt appears to have come to a close. The band returned to the online world after a 24-hour social media blackout -- accompanied by a post featuring cryptic quotes like "So we must leave, with a parting 'we love you,'" -- and has now announced a month-long tour through their native U.K.

The tour begins November 9 in Liverpool and concludes November 28 in Manchester. Visit the newly revamped The1975.com for all ticket info.

Along with the tour announcement, The 1975 released another letter with the same aesthetic as the one they released prior to the social media deactivation. The new letter is much less cryptic than the previous one, promising new music is on the horizon.

"I/we/The 1975 are currently in production of our second full length record," writes frontman Matt Healy. "It's creation signifies the end of the most inspiring and challenging time that we've ever shared as friends and as artists." The 1975's self-titled debut was released in 2013.
