Third Man RecordsThe Dead Weather's forthcoming album Dodge & Burn now has an official release date. According to the Third Man Records Twitter, the band's third album will be released on September 25.
Dodge & Burn will feature eight new songs, plus four previously released tracks remixed and remastered. The Dead Weather's last album was 2010's Sea of Cowards.
Along with Jack White on drums, The Dead Weather features The Kills' Alison Mosshart on vocals, Queens of the Stone Age's Dean Fertita on guitar and The Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence on bass. The band will not be touring in support of Dodge & Burn due to each member's involvement in other projects, as well as White's self-declared "break" from performing live.
