The Decemberists Announce 2015 Tour

Image Courtesy of Autumn DeWildeThe Decemberists will be hitting the road next year in support of their upcoming album, What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World. The band’s North American tour will begin on March 21 in their hometown of Portland, Oregon, and will concluded  April 13 in Nashville, Tennessee.

What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World will be released on January 2. The album, the band’s seventh, will be The Decemberists’ first full-length record since 211’s The King is Dead, which featured the Grammy-nominated single “Down by the Water.”

The first single from What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World, entitled “Make You Better,” is now streaming on Vevo.

Tickets for all of the new tour dates will go on sale to the general public November 21, except for the Nashville date, which goes on sale November 22.
