The Killers Release Christmas Singles Compilation; Share Cover of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”

Island RecordsThe Killers have gathered all of their charity Christmas singles together into one compilation.

Titled Don't Waste Your Wishes, the collection includes all 10 of the band's previously released holiday-themed tracks, plus a new cover version of the Bing Crosby classic "I'll Be Home for Christmas." You can download Don't Waste Your Wishes now on iTunes.

On his band's version of "I'll Be Home for Christmas," frontman Brandon Flowers gives a spoken word intro detailing how his grade school teacher Ned Humphrey Hansen once explained to him the importance of the Christmas standard. Flowers is then joined by Hansen himself for a duet of the song.

Other guests on Don't Waste Your Wishes include Elton John and Jimmy Kimmel. All proceeds from the compilation's sales will be donated to the (RED) campaign, which helps battle HIV/AIDS worldwide.
