The Lumineers announce world tour behind “III,” third album debuting on September 13

DualtoneThe Lumineers have announced that their third album, appropriately titled III, will be released September 13.

Today, in addition to a track listing for the record, the group, as promised, has released the record's first single, titled "Gloria." They also unveiled a lyric video for the uptempo song, which lead vocalist Wesley Schultz said, "is about love between an addict and her family."

Fittingly for an album called III, the album features three chapters, each one focusing on one person in the fictitious Sparks family, whose story spans three generations.  The project also sees violinist and vocalist Lauren Jacobsen officially joining the band, having played on their two previous albums.  Cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek left the group in 2018.

The Lumineers have also announced dates for the III: World Tour, which kicks off May 19 at the Hangout Musical Festival in Gulf Shores, AL, and wraps November 29 at Dublin, Ireland's 3Arena.

III is the follow-up to The Lumineers' 2016 sophomore effort, Cleopatra, which spawned the singles "Ophelia" and "Angela." The group has since released a few one-off singles, including a cover of Tom Petty's "Walls."

Here's the track listing for III

"Donna"
"Life In The City"
"Gloria"
"It Wasn't Easy To Be Happy For You"
"Leader of The Landslide"
"Left For Denver"
"My Cell"
