Aural Apothecary/Columbia RecordsTo celebrate the release day for their new album Heartworms, The Shins have premiered not one, but two videos for their single "Name for You" -- one for the original song, and another for a "flipped," new wave-sounding version. Both videos are streaming now at TheShins.com.
The video for the album version of "Name for You" features skateboarders Savannah Headden and Samarria Brevard riding around Southern California, while the clip for the "flipped" version is a noir-styled visual starring transgender actress Trace Lysette.
The Shins will play a trio of intimate U.S. shows in support of Heartworms, starting tonight in Los Angeles. The band will return to the U.S. for a full-length tour in April.
