The Strumbellas are ready for their closeup in “I’ll Wait” video

ABC/Randy HolmesThe Strumbellas have premiered the video for "I'll Wait," a track from the band's new album, Rattlesnake.

The clip, streaming now via Billboard.com, starts off with tight closeups of each member of the Canadian band as they sing along to the tune. Once the chorus hits, the video cuts to a stage covered in balloons and confetti as all the members of the group rock out together.

"The idea behind the video for 'I'll Wait' was simply what we thought would be the best visual representation of the song -- lots of colors, lots of emotion and the band on the place that defines them best, on stage," lead singer Simon Ward tells Billboard, adding that they took inspiration from Sinead O'Connor's iconic "Nothing Compares 2 U" video.

Rattlesnake, featuring the lead single "Salvation," is out today. It follows 2016's Hope, which spawned the single "Spirits."
