Kobalt Music RecordingsThe Wombats have unveiled the details of their next album. The fourth studio effort from the British Band is titled Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, and will arrive on February 9.
The first single from Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life is called "Lemon to a Knife Fight," and you can grab the track now via digital outlets.
"I wanted to make an album that had more swagger, was a bit more laid back, something that wasn't punching you in the face every time you listen to it," says frontman Matthew Murphy. "On every level, musically and interpersonally, we're much closer."
The Wombats will be supporting the new album next year first on their own headlining tour, which begins in January, and then while opening for the Weezer and Pixies co-headlining tour, which kicks off in June.
Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life is the follow-up to 2015's Glitterbug, which spawned the singles "Give Me a Try" and "Greek Tragedy." Here is the new album's track list:
