Last month, ex-Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge posted song clips believed to be demos he recorded for his former band, with the hashtag #SongsWithoutaHome. Now, it appears those songs have indeed found a home.
DeLonge has announced the release of his debut solo album, entitled To the Stars...Demos, Odds and Ends. To the Stars, which is also the name of DeLonge's record label, will be released April 21. If you pre-order the album via TomDeLonge.me, you'll receive early access to the album's tracks beginning March 9.
Earlier this year, DeLonge and his former Blink band mates, drummer Travis Barker and bassist Mark Hoppus, got into a very public fight over whether DeLonge was still a part of the group. The announcement of To the Stars could be seen as confirmation that DeLonge has moved on from Blink, or it may only further muddy the issue.
Blink will play the Musink Festival in Los Angeles on March 22 with Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba filling in for DeLonge.
The To the Stars...Demos, Odds and Ends track list will be revealed March 16.
