The Blink-182 saga continues, as recently-ousted guitarist Tom DeLonge has taken to his Instagram to post two clips of new songs that were possibly meant for his old band. Both posts are captioned #SongsWithoutaHome and #March 1, suggesting that the clips may be Blink demos now stuck in a purgatory of sorts due to the band's split, and perhaps referring to a release date.
Last week, Blink's other two members, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, reportedly released a statement saying that DeLonge had quit the band. DeLonge then issued a statement denying Hoppus and Barker's claim, writing, "I never quit the band." What followed was a series of back-and-forths from both camps, including a Rolling Stone interview in which Hoppus and Barker referred to DeLonge as "ungrateful" and "disingenuous."
With these new Instagram posts, it appears DeLonge may be moving on without his former Blink bandmates. Hoppus and Barker seem to be moving on as well -- last Thursday, Hoppus posted a photo of a performance space with the caption "Blink-182 rehearsals." Blink will be performing at the Musink Tattoo & Music Festival in Los Angeles, which takes place March 22. Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba will fill in for the absent DeLonge.
DeLonge is also in the midst of promoting The Dream Walker, his latest album with his other band, Angels & Airwaves. The band recently released a video for the The Dream Walker track, "Tunnels."
