Travis Barker Shares His and Blink-182’s Plans for 2017

ABC/Alycia MonacoBlink-182 has had quite the eventful year, thanks to their comeback album California. According to drummer Travis Barker, the band plans to keep the train rolling in 2017

"There's a Blink-182 deluxe album coming out next year," Barker tells Billboard.

Barker also is currently working with the band Antemasque, which features Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta, and his own solo material.

"I'll release my second solo album next year," Barker says. His debut solo album, Give the Drummer Some, was released in 2011.

Finally, Barker says he's going to continue working with DJ duo The Chainsmokers and Halsey after performing their hit single "Closer" with them at last weekend's American Music Awards.

"I think in the future we're gonna get in the studio," he says.

Barker and Blink-182 will also be busy in 2017 on the road with tours through the U.K. and Europe.
