Jordi Vidal/Redferns via Getty ImagesThe relationship between rapper and producer Dr. Dre and Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine will be explored in a new documentary, titled The Defiant Ones. The four-part film will feature interviews with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails and U2's Bono.
If you're wondering what connection Reznor and Bono have with Dr. Dre and Iovine, both Nine Inch Nails and U2 released albums through Interscope. Additionally, Reznor has worked with the rapper's company Beats by Dre.
The Defiant Ones also includes interviews with No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, Tom Petty, Ice Cube and David Geffen, whose label DGC Records released Nirvana's Nevermind. The documentary will premiere on HBO in 2017.
