Twenty One Pilots Nominated for Guild of Music Supervisors Awards

Image Group LA/ABCTwenty One Pilots' hit song "Heathens" is eligible to receive an Oscar nomination on Tuesday, but for now, the duo will have to be content with a nomination from the Guild of Music Supervisors.

The awards recognize music supervisors -- the people who select the music for media such as films, TV, games and movie trailers -- but also songs themselves. "Heathens," which was recorded for the movie Suicide Squad, is nominated in the Best Song/Recording Created for a Film category.

The other nominees for the award include Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!" from Trolls, Pink's "Just Like Fire" from Alice Through the Looking Glass, "City of Stars" from La La Land and "Drive It Like You Stole It" from Sing Street.

The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards will take place February 16 at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
