Twenty One Pilots teach an alien to swim in “Chlorine” video

ABC/Image Group LAWhat if E.T. didn't want to phone home, and instead just wanted to learn to swim? That's probably what Twenty One Pilots were thinking when they came up with the video for their song "Chlorine."

In the clip, streaming now on YouTube, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun play two pool cleaners who come across an adorable alien creature, who's apparently named Ned. The little guy wants to swimming, but he's too nervous. Eventually, he musters the courage and triumphantly cannonballs into the pool.

"Chlorine" is a track from the new Twenty One Pilots album Trench, which also features the Grammy-nominated single "Jumpsuit."

The duo's Bandito world tour in support of Trench resumes next week in Europe, and will return to the U.S. the end of May.
