Twenty One Pilots will bring their famously energetic live show to this weekend's MTV Music Video Awards. The performance will mark the band's first appearance at the VMAs, although they did previously play the MTV Movie Awards in 2014.
While they'll be performing, Twenty One Pilots are not nominated for a VMA this year. The nominees for the Best Rock Video are Arctic Monkeys' "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?," Fall Out Boy's "Uma Thurman," WALK THE MOON's "Shut Up and Dance," Hozier's "Take Me to Church," and Florence + the Machine's "Ship to Wreck."
The 2015 MTV VMAs will air Sunday, August 30 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. A pre-show celebration, featuring a performance from WALK THE MOON, airs 8 p.m. ET/PT.
