U2 Guitarist The Edge Takes Part in Eldest Daughter’s Italian Wedding

Credit: Paolo PellegrinCongratulations go out to U2 guitarist The Edge, whose oldest child, Hollie Evans, got married this past weekend in Tuscany, Italy.  The Irish Mirror reports that the rock star was on hand to walk his 31-year-old daughter down the aisle.

According to the paper, Hollie wed her childhood sweetheart, Jamie Hewitson.

Hollie is one of three adult daughters The Edge fathered with his first wife, Aislinn.  He also has a teenage daughter and his son with his second wife, Morleigh Steinberg.  The 54-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer became a grandfather when his youngest daughter with Aislynn, Blue Angel, gave birth to a son.

Meanwhile, U2 has debuted a new official video for its Songs of Innocence single "Song for Someone" on its official Facebook page.  The visually striking black-and-white clip was directed by illustrator and photographer Matt Mahurin.

U2 kicks off a European leg of its iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour 2015 next Friday, September 4, in Turin, Italy.  The trek runs through a November 15 show in Paris.
