Cliff Lipson/CBSAll Things Must Pass is a new documentary about how Tower Records became a billion-dollar company in 1999, before filing for bankruptcy just seven years later in the wake of the online music boom. The film features an interview with Dave Grohl, who actually used to work at Tower Records.
"I got a job at Tower Records because that's the only place that I could get a job with my f****** haircut," Grohl says in the trailer. "That is the truth."
The film also includes interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Elton John and Russ Solomon, who founded Tower Records in 1960.
All Things Must Pass, directed by Colin Hanks, will hit theaters October 16.
