Watch Jack Antonoff of Bleachers Discuss Roller Coasters with Bill Nye

Image Courtesy of Daniel Silbert/RCA RecordsBleachers frontman Jack Antonoff has teamed up with the beloved Bill Nye the Science Guy to discuss the science behind the hit Bleachers single, "Rollercoaster." The lyrics compare one of Antonoff's past relationships to a roller-coaster ride -- or, as the Science Guy calls it, "roller-coastering."  Nye explains that the brain reacts similarly to both experiences. You can watch Antonoff's talk with Nye on Vevo.

"I think there's a good chance Bill might be an incredible songwriter," Antonoff tells Fader of the Science Guy. "[He] just has to get out of his head a little. Nonetheless, speaking to him on the different aspects of what 'Rollercoaster' means emotional was majorly validating. He can come over my house whenever he wants. Also, he fixed my fridge. Not a joke."

"Rollercoaster" appears on Bleachers' debut album, Strange Desire. The band will be roller-coastering through North American on a headlining tour in support of Strange Desire, beginning February 28 in Honolulu.

Meanwhile, Nate Ruess, the frontman of Antonoff's other band, fun., just released his first solo single, "Nothing Without Love." Ruess is planning to  release his debut solo album this summer.
