Watch Jim James, Marcus Mumford and Elvis Costello Perform as The New Basement Tapes

Electro MagneticLast November, My Morning Jacket's Jim James and Mumford & Sons' Marcus Mumford teamed up with Elvis Costello to perform for one night only as The New Basement Tapes. On the very likely chance that you missed the one-and-done show, you're in luck -- four clips of the concert are now streaming on Vevo.

The New Basement Tapes was a project spearheaded by producer T Bone Burnett in which James, Mumford and Costello, as well as Dawes' Taylor Goldsmith and singer Rhiannon Giddens of Carolina Chocolate Drops, joined together to record a group of unfinished Bob Dylan lyrics that Dylan wrote during his The Basement Tapes era. Last year, the group released an album of their takes on the long-lost Dylan songs, entitled Lost on the River: The New Basement Tapes.

The making and recording of Lost on the River was also the subject of a Showtime documentary, Lost Songs: The Basement Tapes Continues.

In other MMJ and Mumford & Sons news, both bands announced earlier this week that they'll release new albums, entitled The Waterfall and Wilder Mind, respectively, on May 4.
