ABC/Paula LoboThe video for "I've Been Waiting," Fall Out Boy's collaboration with the late Lil Peep, is streaming now on YouTube.
The clip stars Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump, along with Peep's friend and collaborator iLoveMakonnen, as they navigate an elaborate fantasy world filled with giant waterfalls and wondrous creatures. It's based on an idea Peep came up with when he and Makonnen first recorded the track.
"Being able to live in a world that Peep ideated before his passing was super-special as both an artist and a fan," says Wentz in a statement. "Our goal was to be a texture and a guide for a vision that he had."
Peep, who was a big fan of Fall Out Boy and helped popularize the emo-rap genre, died November 2017 at age 21 of an overdose.
