Will Daft Punk go unmasked in Daft Punk Unchained? Throughout the newly released trailer for the documentary about the enigmatic French electronic duo, Daft Punk keep their identities concealed through a variety of masks. At the end of the clip, however, one of the band's members begins to take off his robotic helmet before the screen cuts to black. You can watch the Daft Punk Unchained trailer now on YouTube.
Described as the "first-ever documentary film on the most secretive duo in the world," Daft Punk Unchained "highlights key moments of their story, from their first school band in Paris to their historic concert at Coachella festival in 2006 and their spectacular triumph at the 2014 Grammy Awards for the album Random Access Memories."
In addition, Daft Punk Unchained includes interviews with a variety of the group's collaborators, including Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and director Michel Gondry.
Daft Punk Unchained originally aired in Daft Punk's native France over the summer. The film's expected to be released in the U.S. later this year.
