Watch Thom Yorke Play “High and Dry” in Pre-Radiohead Band Headless Chickens

Credit: Steve Keros Before Thom Yorke became the frontman for Radiohead, he played in a band called Headless Chickens. The band didn't last very long, but now, previously unseen footage of Yorke and Headless Chickens performing live has surfaced on YouTube.

The clip shows Yorke singing and playing lead guitar in Headless Chickens -- including a rare guitar solo -- on the song "High and Dry," which would eventually become a single from Radiohead's sophomore album, The Bends.

Headless Chickens only released one single, called "I Don't Want to Go to Woodstock," before Yorke reunited his college band, On a Friday, which would eventually become Radiohead.
