Weezer's ninth studio album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, debuted at number five on the Billboard 200 chart, marking their seventh straight top-ten appearance. Weezer's last album, 2010's Hurley, peaked at number six.

Meanwhile, hot off his appearance on Saturday Night Live, Hozier's debut self-titled album came in at number two. The album's debut marked the second-highest position on the Billboard 200 for a new artist this year.

Both bands are currently on tour through North America. Weezer's tour will wrap up December 9 with a stop at the KeyArena in Seattle, WA, and Hozier will conclude his trek with a two-night stand at New York City's Irving Plaza from November 5-6.
