Credit: Brantley GutierrezThe three-prong punk festival Riot Fest has added two big headliners to its 2015 lineups. Weezer will play Riot Fest Toronto, while System of a Down will play Riot Fest Denver and the festival's flagship Chicago event.
For their Riot Fest set, Weezer will be performing their 1994 debut The Blue Album and its 1996 follow-up, the cult classic Pinkerton, in full. System of a Down's headlining appearances will mark their first U.S. performances since their show in Los Angeles last April in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian genocide.
Other Riot Fest additions include Bleachers for Toronto and electronic group The Prodigy for Denver and Chicago.
No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Faith No More and Iggy Pop also will headline Riot Fest Chicago, which takes place September 11-13. The Denver festival includes Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop and Pixies and takes place August 28-30. Riot Fest Toronto will be held September 19-20 and features Motorhead, Coheed and Cambria and Against Me!.
