The Pirates of the Caribbean star made a surprise appearance during Manson's concert at the Roxy in West Hollywood, playing guitar during a performance of the Manson hit "Beautiful People." They were joined by Die Antwoord rapper Ninja.

Fan-filmed footage of the performance has been posted online.

Depp is no stranger to the live music scene. He's collaborated with Alice Cooper, Tom Petty, Willie Nelson and other acts onstage in the past. This past July, he made a cameo during an Aerosmith show in Massachusetts.

The band has announced it will stage a concert at the home of the Chicago Cubs on August 29, 2015. Tickets will go on sale this Monday at 10 a.m. local time. For more info, you can visit Cubs.com/Foo.

The date will be part of the Foo Fighters' Sonic Highways World Tour. They've yet to announce a complete list of U.S. dates.

The band performed at the Chicago venue The Cubby Bear last Friday night to celebrate the premiere of their new HBO documentary series, Foo Fighters Sonic Highways.

The Sonic Highways album is due out November 10.
