Deftones Cancel European Dates Following Paris Attacks

Warner Bros RecordsSome members of the Deftones were at the Bataclan concert venue in Paris Friday night when the deadly attack occurred during the Eagles of Death Metal concert. They were scheduled to perform at the same venue for three nights: November 14-16.

Due to the attacks, the Deftones cancelled those shows, plus additional European dates in Germany and the U.K.

The band said in a statement over the weekend, "Much has been said, as well as seen, on every media outlet about the events in Paris.  Some of us were in attendance at the Le Bataclan, and the rest of our family, just blocks away on this night.  We have been to Paris many, many times, and we’ve had some of the most amazing shows in this tremendously electric city.

"With this being said, and with our deepest condolences, love and respect to everyone affected, and to all of us who share this planet, we must return home to our loved ones," the statement continued. "We will return when appropriate."

The band said that it will provide further information to fans who had tickets for the cancelled concerts in the near future.

Panic! At the Disco Announces New Album, “Death of a Bachelor”

Image Courtesy of Fueled by RamenPanic! At the Disco has released the details of their new album.

Death of a Bachelor will drop January 15. You can pre-order it now via Apple Music and instantly download the new single, “Victorious,” as well as the tracks "Hallelujah” and “Emperor’s New Clothes.”  You can check out the video for "Emperor's New Clothes" now on YouTube.

Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie wrote in a post on the band's website, "When I was a little kid and I heard a song I liked on tv, I would jump up and run to the piano to try and figure it out by ear. When I was 10 or 11, I built myself a drum kit in the garage made out of empty laundry detergent buckets, old lawn chairs, paint cans, and old trash cans. Around that time, my parents got me my first guitar. A baby acoustic. I jumped between all of these instruments constantly to satisfy the ideas I heard in my head. At this young age, I realized that music would play a huge part in my life. I had no idea."

He adds, "'Death Of A Bachelor' is in honor of those times I spent alone as a kid. Allowing music to consume me. Playing everything myself just to get the idea right and out of my head. It’s a beginning to a new era. And an homage to how it all began."

Panic! At the Disco has scheduled intimate shows in London, New York and Los Angeles to celebrate the release of their new album. You can check out the dates and ticket info at PanicAtTheDisco.com.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale to Divorce

Trae Patton/NBCGwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are ending their 13-year marriage, a rep for the couple told ABC News.

"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment. To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time," the statement from the musicians read.

Stefani, 45, and Rossdale, 49, wed in 2002. They have three sons together: Kingston, 9, Zuma, 6, and Apollo, 1.

Earlier this year, the No Doubt frontwoman opened up about her marriage to the Bush singer to Cosmopolitan magazine.

"We go through so much together — it's a miracle that we could stay together this long," she said. "It's good to have those days when we both do our own things. I think that's what keeps relationships going, when both people can be themselves and have their own individuality. That's especially important for women. It's hard to find time for yourself."

Kanye Tweets Apologies to Beck, Bruno Mars

Def Jam; Peter HapakNearly three weeks after slamming Beck's Grammy win for album of the year, Kanye West has issued an apology to him.

Kanye tweeted on Thursday, "I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck."

You'll recall that Kanye walked onto the Grammys stage after Beck's Morning Phase was named the winner for best album. Later, in an interview with E!, the rapper said, "Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé."

Kanye on Thursday also apologized to funk-pop star Bruno Mars, for some reason, writing, "I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist." He didn't elaborate on why he had an issue with Bruno.

Kanye did extend an offer to the "Uptown Funk" singer: "I also would love for Bruno to sing this hook on this song 88 Keys / Puff and I produced…I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid," meaning rapper and producer Tyler, the Creator.

Bono Executive Producing, Writing Song for Film Starring Willie Nelson

ABC/Adam TaylorBono is lending his talents to an independent film titled Waiting for the Miracle to Come.

He won't star in the movie, but he will executive produce and write an original song for it, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The song will be performed by Willie Nelson, one of the film's cast members.

Waiting for the Miracle to Come will focus on an aspiring trapeze artist who is directed by a letter to a California goldmine, where she discovers retired vaudeville stars, one of whom will be played by Nelson.

Bono has a connection to Nelson: he wrote "Slow Dancing" for the country legend in the late 1980s.

Waiting for the Miracle to Come will be directed by Lian Lunson, whose previous credits include the documentary Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man, featuring Bono.

The movie will begin shooting at Nelson's private Texas ranch in March.

Bono and his band, U2, have contributed music to films from time to time during their career. In 2014, they received an Oscar nomination for "Ordinary Love," their song in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.

Tom DeLonge Says He Didn’t Quit Blink-182

Estevan Oriol/DGCHold off on those reports that Tom DeLonge has left Blink-182.

In a post on his Facebook page Monday afternoon, the guitarist insisted that he didn't quit the band. He wrote, "I actually was on a phone call about a blink 182 event for New York City at the time all these weird press releases started coming in... Apparently those releases were 'sanctioned' from the band. Are we dysfunctional- yes. But, Christ....."

His rep released a similar statement in which DeLonge is quoted as saying, "The ONLY truth here is that I have commitments that limit my availability this year. I love Blink-182 and I’m not leaving.”

Earlier in the day, a publicist for Blink-182 reportedly put out a statement in which DeLonge's bandmates, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, claimed DeLonge "didn't want to participate in any Blink-182 projects indefinitely, but would rather work on his other non-musical endeavors." The statement was reported on by multiple outlets.

Blink-182 has lined up a replacement for DeLonge for their just-announced headlining set at the Musink Tattoo & Music Festival in Los Angeles on March 22: Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba.

Hoppus and Barker have yet to publicly comment on DeLonge's statements.
