AFI Grabs Top-Five Debut on “Billboard” 200 with “The Blood Album”; Shares “Aurelia” Video

Credit: Jiro SchneiderAFI has scored a top-five debut on the Billboard 200 thanks to their new album, AFI (The Blood Album). The 10th studio effort from Davey Havok and company arrives at number five on the chart with a total of 29,000 equivalent album units, 28,000 of which were pure album sales.

The Blood Album is AFI's third top-five album on the Billboard 200, following 2003's Sing the Sorrow, which also reached the number-five spot, and 2006's Decemberunderground, which debuted at number one.

In other AFI news, the band has premiered the video for "Aurelia," another track from The Blood Album. The visual shows extreme close-ups of each AFI member as they perform the moody track. You can watch the "Aurelia" now via NME.com.

AFI is currently on tour in support of The Blood Album.
