Credit: Peter HapakFresh off his surprise Album of the Year Grammy win, Beck has announced three new headlining tour dates. The new dates will take place May 16 in Memphis, Tennessee; May 19 in North Charleston, South Carolina; and May 20 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Beck's new tour dates will be sandwiched between two festival appearances: the Hangout Festival in Alabama, and Boston Calling.
At last week's Grammys, Beck's album Morning Phase stunned prognosticators by taking home the prize for Album of the Year over heavily-favored pop stars Beyonce and Sam Smith. Rapper Kanye West took the stage and appeared ready to interrupt Beck's speech -- à la the 2009 Taylor Swift VMAs incident -- but decided against it. Arcade Fire frontman Win Butler has offered his thoughts on the incident be creating a mashup between Beck's "Loser" and West's "Jesus Walks."
