Bullet for My Valentine Announces New Album, Venom; Debuts Lead Single

Image Courtesy of RCA RecordsBullet for My Valentine has officially announced their next album. The band's fifth record will be called Venom and it will be released on August 14. The lead single from Venom, called "No Way Out," is streaming now on YouTube.

"It's pretty hard to sum up an entire record after spending so much time writing and recording it and all the blood, sweat and tears that have come with this one especially,” says frontman Matt Tuck of Venom. "It wasn't easy revisiting some very dark places to come up with lyrical content for this one, but once I knew where it was heading and I was comfortable with letting certain things out -- all hell broke loose."

"It's easily the most aggressive record we've ever done and lyrically it will no doubt touch a nerve with a lot of people that listen to it," Tuck adds.

In addition to the album announcement, Bullet for My Valentine has unveiled Jamie Mathias as the band's new bass player. Mathias replaces Jason James, who left the band earlier this year.

Bullet for My Valentine will embark on a headlining tour in 2016, but in the meantime, they will be touring on Slipknot's Summer's Last Stand tour alongside Lamb of God and Motionless in White, which kicks off July 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
