Cage the Elephant has had a busy 2016, spending most of the year touring in support of their latest album, Tell Me I'm Pretty. If all goes according to plan, 2017 should be equally eventful for Matt Shultz and company.
Speaking to Fuse, Shultz says that Cage the Elephant "hopefully" will release a new album next year.
"We're gonna start demoing in December," he adds. "So [we'll] see how it goes."
Tell Me I'm Pretty, Cage the Elephant's fourth studio album, was released December 2015. It features the singles "Mess Around" and "Trouble."
In addition to working on new material, Cage the Elephant will continue to hit the road hard, starting in January with a trip to the U.K. and Europe.
