Peter Kramer/NBCChris Martin decided to stop by a bar in New Delhi, India for an impromptu acoustic performance Wednesday night. The Coldplay frontman played "Viva la Vida," "Fix You" and "Paradise." You can watch clips of the performance on BuzzFeed India's Facebook page.
According to BuzzFeed, both "Chris Martin" and "Coldplay" were trending on Twitter in India due to the surprise performance. Despite their popularity in the country, Coldplay has never actually performed in India.
Buzzfeed adds that Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto was in attendance during Martin's acoustic set.
Coldplay is currently working on their new album, titled A Head Full of Dreams. Martin has previously stated in an interview with BBC Radio 1 that A Head Full of Dreams will be "the completion of something," which seemed to imply that the album could possibly be Coldplay's last.
