The summer festival season makes its unofficial start when the first weekend of Coachella 2015 kicks off in the Indio, California desert today. The first night of the festival will be headlined by hard rock legends AC/DC, who are making their first U.S. concert appearance of the year.
If you're planning on camping out all day at the Coachella Stage to get close for AC/DC, you'll also get to see a bevy of today's biggest alternative rock bands, including Tame Impala, Interpol and The War on Drugs. Alabama Shakes, Steely Dan, George Ezra and Lykke Li also will be playing Friday.
On the second day of Coachella, Jack White will be the penultimate act on the Coachella Stage, followed by a set from R&B singer The Weeknd. Saturday will also feature sets from Royal Blood, Alt-J, Milky Chance, Hozier, Glass Animals and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
Florence + the Machine will play the Coachella Stage on the festival's third day, followed by rapper Drake. Vance Joy, Radiohead's Philip Selway, Fitz and The Tantrums and Conor Oberst's Desaparecidos will help close out the first weekend of Coachella 2015.
If you couldn't make it out to Indio this year, you'll be able to stream sets from Coachella live on YouTube.
The festival will return for a second weekend April 17-19.
