Corey Taylor Guests on New Track from Rapper Tech N9ne, “Wither”

Credit: Bobby TongsCorey Taylor has entered the hip-hop game. The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman has lent his vocals to a new track from rapper Tech N9ne called "Wither." You can listen to the explosive results of the collaboration now on YouTube.

"Working with Tech was a no-brainer," says Taylor in a statement. "When I heard the music for 'Wither,' I knew the two of us would make something dark and crazy. The slow burn in the music is awesome -- his band is great and the performance is incredible. People are gonna s**t!"

"Wither" will appear on Tech's forthcoming album, Special Effects, which will be released May 4. Tech, who has previously performed at Slipknot's Knotfest, will also be playing the Rock on the Range festival on May 17.

Taylor appears to be in a particularly collaborative mood as of late -- he's also contributing to the debut album from Teenage Time Killers alongside Dave Grohl, Lamb of God's Randy Blythe, and former Queens of the Stone Age bassist Nick Oliveri, among many others.
