Image Courtesy of Bobby TongsCorey Taylor is returning to the literary world. The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman will be releasing his third book on June 30, 2015 through Da Capo Press. Entitled You're Making Me Hate You: An Uncommon Guide to Common Sense, the book finds Taylor “sound[ing] off in hilarious fashion about the many vagaries of modern life that piss him off.”
“Whether it’s people’s rude behavior in restaurants and malls, the many indignities of air travel, eye-searingly terrible fashion choices, dangerously clueless drivers, and -- most of all -- the sorry state of much modern music, Taylor’s humor and insight cover civil society’s seeming decline -- sparing no one along the way, least of all himself,” the book's official description continues.
Taylor’s previous books, 2011’s Seven Deadly Sins and 2013’s A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Heaven, both appeared on The New York Times Best Sellers list for hardcover non-fiction at number 26 and number 23, respectively.
Slipknot is currently on the road with Korn on the North American Prepare for Hell tour. The tour wraps up December 7 in Lowell, Massachusetts.
