Foo Fighters have a big week planned in the Big Apple. Tonight, December 3, Foo frontman Dave Grohl will be Jon Stewart's guest on The Daily Show, and the band will perform on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon December 4. These late-night appearance will all lead up to the finale of the Foos' documentary series, Sonic Highways, which airs December 5. The series finale will focus on the music of New York City.
As previously reported, the Sonic Highways finale will be celebrated with an intimate concert at New York City's Irving Plaza. Tickets to the show will only be available at the Irving Plaza box office starting at 5 p.m. ET on Friday. The full-scale Foo Fighters tour begins July 4 in Washington, D.C., and runs through October 7 in Memphis, Tennessee. General public ticket sales will begin December 4 and 5, depending on the city. The Daily Show and The Tonight Show air at 11 p.m. ET on Comedy Central and 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC, respectively.
