Dave Grohl Says “There Might Be a Season Two” of “Sonic Highways”

Image Courtesy of Roswell Records/RCA RecordsThe finale of Foo Fighters:Sonic Highways airs tonight, but luckily for fans of the eight-part Foo Fighters documentary, it may not be the series finale.

"There might be a season two," Dave Grohl told Jon Stewart during his guest appearance on The Daily Show on Wednesday.

Sonic Highways followed the Foos across America as the band recorded their new album, also titled Sonic Highways, in different studios all over the country. In the midst of documenting the band's recording process, the series also profiled the music history of each city the band visited. After hitting Chicago, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Seattle, tonight's Sonic Highways episode will focus on New York City.

The Sonic Highways album was released in November and reached the number two spot on the Billboard 200.

Foo Fighters will be celebrating the Sonic Highways finale with an intimate show at New York City's Irving Plaza. The band's full-scale North American tour begins next year on July 4 in Washington, D.C. The tour will wrap up October 7 in Memphis, Tennessee. All ticket info can be found on FooFighters.com.
