ABC/Andrea McCallinIt's time to play the music, it's time to light the lights, it's time for Dave Grohl to guest on The Muppets show tonight. The Foo Fighters frontman will make an appearance on tonight's episode of ABC's The Muppets, entitled "Going, Going, Gonzo."
In the episode, Grohl will challenge Animal to a drum-off. Animal, of course, is the drummer for the Muppet band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt also will be a guest on tonight's episode.
This won't be Grohl's first interaction with the Muppets -- he had a cameo in the 2011 The Muppets film as Animool, a member of a group of Muppets knock-offs called the Moopets.
The Muppets airs tonight, December 1, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
