ABC/Randy HolmesLast week, Yungblud and Halsey teamed up to record a cover of Death Cab for Cutie's "I Will Follow You into the Dark" for Australia's triple j radio. As it turns out, Ben Gibbard and company are fans of the duo's performance.
In a tweet, Death Cab called the string-laden cover "beautiful."
"We're honored!" the band added.
A starstruck Yungblud then replied with three face-screaming-in-fear emojis.
Yungblud and Halsey, who are reportedly a couple, recently teamed up for the new song "11 Minutes," which also features Blink-182's Travis Barker.
