Eagles of Death Metal Mock Hipsters in New Song, “Silverlake (K.S.O.F.M.)”

T-Boy Records/UMeEagles of Death Metal are known for not taking themselves too seriously. In their new song "Silverlake (K.S.O.F.M.)," Josh Homme and Jesse Hughes take aim at those who do take themselves too seriously by making fun of Silverlake, Los Angeles' "hipster" neighborhood. You can listen to "Silverlake (K.S.O.F.M.)" now at RollingStone.com.

On "Silverlake (K.S.O.F.M.)," Eagles of Death Metal mocks hipsters with lines like "I am from Silverlake and therefore I don't give a damn" and dramatic bellows of "Don't you know who I am?" As for looking cool themselves, Homme and Hughes aren't too concerned.

"When you try to put everything into music, there's no room left to try to make you think we're cool," Homme tells Rolling Stone. "We know you think we're cool."

"Silverlake (K.S.O.F.M.)" appears on Eagles of Death Metal's forthcoming album, Zipper Down, which will be released on October 2.
