Elle King’s Christmas Will Include Onesies, Dog Gifts and Alcohol…but No Eggnog

ABC/Randy HolmesElle King has a reputation as a hard-drinking, tattooed party girl, but when it comes to celebrating Christmas, she says she's all about tradition...mostly.

"I love decorating trees. I’m kind of a nut about it and I always end up getting a bunch of Onesies and we all put pajamas on and do pretty, like, basic stuff," King tells ABC Radio. One exception: her choice of holiday beverage. "I don't like eggnog so I just drink the alcohol that you put it in," she laughs.

However, her favorite holiday tradition is something everyone can relate to. "Mainly, I just like to eat. So I like to wear anything stretchy...I like leftovers a lot," she jokes.

And when it comes to gift buying, King says she doesn't draw the line at humans. Asked if she gets Christmas gifts for her beloved dogs, Elle tells ABC Radio, "Of course I do! They get...new Tempur-Pedic beds every year and really nice bones and some great meats...They're spoiled princes."

King has a busy 2016 planned. She'll ring in the year on ABC's Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, and attend the Grammy Awards in February, where her song "Ex's & Oh's" is nominated for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance. Days later, she'll kick off a tour with Vance Joy.
