The Faith No More frontman, who's also sung in the bands Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk and Peeping Tom, has joined the group Dead Cross, which also features ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo.
Patton will contribute vocals to Dead Cross' debut album, which is due out in 2017.
Lombardo, meanwhile, is spending this week as the guest drummer on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
