Image Courtesy of Crush ManagementHaving already saved rock and roll, Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump has set his sights on a capella. Stump will be a judge on a special holiday edition of the NBC a capella musical competition series The Sing-Off. The event will air December 17.

The Sing Off will feature six a capella groups competing for a first-place prize of $50,000. Stump will be joined on the judge’s panel by pop singer Jewel and Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman. Nick Lachey is the host.

Stump and Fall Out Boy have had a very eventful few months. The band released two new songs: “Centuries,” from their upcoming new album; and “Immortals,” from the Big Hero 6 soundtrack. Stump also welcomed his first child with his wife, Elisa Yao, in October -- a baby boy named Declan.
